Hammonton Green Committee: Winter Sowing Workshop

Start your garden early by planting seeds in the winter. Learn techniques to make this project a success and get a jumpstart on the growing season. This is an especially great way to start native plants from seeds, as many of them need to be outdoors in the cold of the winter in order to sprout in the spring. 

Grow your own and also help the library grow some plants for the new native plant garden! 

If you plan to join, please bring a clear container that is 2-3 inches deep and has a clear top to let light in (milk jugs, rotisserie chicken and salad containers work well.)
