Event Details
Open to ages 7-14. Licensed Amateur Radio Operators (known as Hams) from the Southern Counties Amateur Radio Association will demonstrate how ham radio works, and why it is an important form of communication, especially in emergency situations. Learn the Phonetic Alphabet and Morse Code and sample talking by handheld radio.
